Hi, I’m Maleigha! I believe therapy is a space where healing, clarity, and growth become possible when we slow down and listen to our inner voice. It should be a space where you feel both supported and challenged, a place to get honest and cut through the noise. With over a decade of experience in both clinical and leadership roles, I’ve primarily worked with high-acuity clients navigating complex mental health needs. Much of my work has centered on helping people heal from trauma, substance use, navigate intense emotions, and break out of patterns that may feel overwhelming or entrenched. I approach this work with a systemic and developmental lens, recognizing how family dynamics, environments, and life stages shape our experiences. I also integrate values-based approaches, including ACT, alongside CBT, polyvagal, and attachment-informed work. While I have experience across the lifespan, I do not typically work with clients younger than 13.
My style is direct and collaborative. I won’t just sit back and nod. Instead, I’ll help you recognize patterns, ask the tough questions, and build the skills needed to move forward with confidence. Clients often describe me as clear, straightforward, compassionate, and collaborative. Together, we explore old patterns, uncover strengths, and create new paths forward. For me, therapy is also a reminder of transformation, intuition, and new beginnings. If you’re ready to awaken your inner voice and step into change, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. When I’m not in session, I’m usually outside with my toddler, traveling cross-country to visit family, or finding new ways to bring creativity and mindfulness into everyday life.
